Historic landmarks

It was built in the 18th century on the premises of the former Dominicans convent. In the 19th century the land was divided and part of it went to the Women's College, run by the Teresian sisters. The building showcases a French style architecture with neo-baroque details; its structure follows the guidelines of neoclassical architecture and ornamentation. At present it houses the Post and Telegraphs offices, the Federal Treasury, the District Court, and the Agrarian Delegation, among other dependencies.
