Lake Pátzcuaro in the fall

September is the perfect month to explore the heart of Don Vasco’s Route. We suggest you take a walk around Pátzcuaro, have some traditional ice-cream and buy some of the local handicrafts. Take a stroll around the lake, visit the archeological ruins of Tzintzuntzan and follow the footsteps of the first evangelizers. You can also enjoy yourself at a pottery workshop. If you are into gastronomy, visit the kitchen of some of Santa Fe’s traditional cooks and take home some local products, such as dried fish. When visiting Uruapan, you cannot miss the Purépecha Gastronomic Exhibition.
